You are right Mike.....but...
The arc of the screen matches the cobra cowl shape pretty well except that it narrows ( the gap that is) as you get to the outside of the screen inside the posts.
In other words...if you place the screen on the car and incline it backwards to the correct rake, it hinges on each outside corner of the bottom frame.
Because of this one ends up with about 1" gap under the screen when it is at the correct angle. Don suggested some folks put a groove in each corner just inside the side posts so that frame sits down lower into the cowl but that seems like a fudge to me.
