I went out to the assemblers last night and had another look at the fantastic job they are doing on our display car. They have constructed a very unique battery box that we are going to make an option on IRS equipped EVO 5 rollers. It allows the battery to be easily removed or installed and gives more usable space in the trunk area. It has been designed to fit an Optima battery, but can be sized for others by request. This layout should be good for other manufacturer’s cars so we will offer it as a stand alone product for anyone that would like one. They are bare aluminum, but can be painted if desired. The battery hold downs will use tabs and be hidden at the bottom of the well. I have dubbed this creation the "Beer Cooler" because of its shape and size, which would be perfect for cooling a six pack of your favorite brew
