Sounds very like my discovery two weeks ago at the healey factory.
A 68 AC 289 original.
It is the company owner's car and I wouldn't expect any less from a man who has a brace of lovely cars for sale including an 1985 testarrosa ferarri for $120K.
Pavlov's effect kicked in while I was there, so I had to leave before I drowned people in saliva!!
