I had a 1967 Fairlane 500 with factory 390 and 4 speed, maroon with black bench seat interior. I recently sold it and it left Indiana for New Zealand. I had 427 S.O.in my garage, but kept it a 390 original. I would either stay factory 390 or go all out nuts with it. Fun cars either way! Good luck with yours!
