My job requires me to travel quite often and for extended periods of time. Seems like when I get back its either raining, or lately to hot to take it out. Being in the northeast does not help. I also have a Harley and a Meyers Manx dune buggy that I drive around. But like the cobra, the Harley has 3000 miles on it in 7 years and the buggy probably has 1000 miles on it in the 6 years I have owned it. I try and drive the cobra atleast once a week in the summer for about 10-15 miles around the block. Enough to get the
oil up to temperature. I have taken it to a few shows and cruise nights in the area but all of these were in a 25 mile radius. We have a lake front cottage in Maine and I have been thinking lately I would like to find an old Chris Craft runabout, either restored or in need of, to drive around the lake at sunset. I find I actually like working on things more than driving them. A wooden boat should put that theory to the test. By the way, I forgot to mention in the posting that this is a fiberglass car. It has the finished edges, and the wheel wells were undercoated by HRE. Oh, by the way, you guys shamed me into driving it. Turned out to be a beautiful day in the northeast. I had a blast driving it on some back country roads. New mileage is 768
Thanks for posting. Mike
