My wife and I were out this past Sunday for a local ride and we ran into another cobra who was heading up the Hawk's Nest along the Delaware River. We joined him and his wife and turned the day into a nice afternoon cruise.

I was thinking about trying to get some of the southern NY and northern NJ and NE PA guys together for a Tri-State cruise.

In the past I met up with some of the Tri-State guys at High Point State Park (route 23 in Montague, NJ) and we did the Hawk's Nest (some nice twisties along the nest). I think there were about five of us.

Anyone up to getting together on Sunday, August 20th?

I got a nice route mapped out. We can meet at High Point State Park at 10AM and then run into NY, up along the Delaware River, then into PA and back into NJ. The route is about an hour to an hour and a half with a watering hole stop along the way.

I live near the Delaware River in NY and depending on the number of guys interested, we can finish up the day with an afternoon BBQ at my place. If the number of guys gets too large, instead of my place, we can do lunch at the Chatterbox on Rte. 206 in NJ.
