Building pipes is fun and a lot more fidly than most people would think. Getting everything to fit neat and consistent is a big part of the challenge.

When cutting the 3 1/2" bends for the slash cut outlets I put the band saw through the bend about 15mm out from the wall of the pipe. To me this gives the most pleasing looking tip.

Thanks for the slash cut advice Mike, I was thinking of something like that but really I was only guessing.

I don't know about "building pipes is fun"..... I did a lot of swearing making those bloody things. To be honest, I spent about $1000 on them, that's including cats, bends, pipe and $200 to TIG them up, (I just tacked them together because my welding is quite poor). I think if I had my time again I would just pay you to do them!!!
