One correct-looking option would be the reproduction forward-bent shifter stalk offered by Finishline that is made to bolt right up to the Tremec-style 2-bolt stub. It has a movable but nonfunctional spring-loaded reverse lockout thingamajig for authentic appearance. Not cheap at something like $150, but that's about the same as the repro 1965 Mustang shifters from Mustangs Unlimited that you'd still have to fangle onto your Tremec. Don't forget to request your 10% Clubcobra discount at Finishline- good for some, but not every part they carry.
