I have a picture in my gallery that might help.
I think the bar that run horizontally is actually about 15" and the throtle linkage from the carb is also about 15". The shorter rod from your foot pedal is a variable depending on where and how you mount your foot pedal (side of foot box or at the end of the foot box).
