"ANYTHING PETROL HEAD RELATED"

1. Petersen Automotive Museum - Los Angeles
2. NHRA Hall of Fame Museum - Riverside County (Pomona/Glendora)
3. Donut Derelicts (OC - Huntington Beach) and/or Crystal Cove (between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, further south down "PCH" - Pacific Coast Highway) - ANY early Saturday morning...tons of cars on display.

Go to http://www.socalcarculture.com/index.htm and click on "Cruise Nights" at the top right. You will see all the listings. So Cal is a BIG place, so you may have to choose your spots depending on where exactly in Los Angeles you intend to hang out.

If you are a Shelby disciple, then visit the showroom/factory in Las Vegas. Personally, I think the time would be better spent admiring the fine cocktail waitresses at (pick any high end hotel on the Las Vegas Strip).

Rent a car and plan on doing a lot of driving ON THE RIGHT (i.e. "CORRECT") SIDE OF THE ROAD!
