it depends on what side of the flashers the wire is connected to, also on the brake switch, it depends on what side it is hooked to, most of the time, the flashers plug into the fuse box, if so, they already have power to them, and the wire will have to go to the trun switch relay, the hazard wire will have to go to the hazard switch relay, the brake switch should have power on one side and the other side should go to the brake switch relay, if you are using a VW setup you will have to have relays to make the flashers work, I saw a thread where someone mentioned a relay that has both trun signals and the emergency flasher all in one relay, I used three relays to make my system work, if you are using the two tail lights then the setup is easy, if you are using the single tail light then the relay system must be used, sorry but the rear lights can be a real pain in the butt
