There seems to be only 2 other stingray related deaths in Australia's history apart from Steve Erwin. Not to long a go a small boy was killed in Innsifail by a stingray!
You either loved Steve or hated him, but there is no defying the fact he did more for the environment then others like him.
I reckon he was probably one of the few of us who has actually been able to touch and see numerous 'real' cobras in his life. I've only seen replicas!
