Unfortunately the only ones that have Cobra's in Oz that are anywhere near the correct 427 shape, are the couple of owners of originals. Rob Sherrard up here in Brisbane has an original 427 street Cobra. And it seems that an original 427 SC is still here on the Gold Coast.

Oh, nearly forgot about that "lucky son of a b!tch" in Oz that owns that aluminium Kirkham. What a way to go.

Of course there are a few other nice rare Cobra replica's here and probably a few I don't know about.

After studying the originals in person, you really start to realise that our replica's are far, far removed. Maybe some were flopped from originals, but so much tweaking, shrinking, drooping & generations of flopping have occured since. It is hard to be certain of anything now.

What's amazing is that even the less original looking bodies, have some very original features not found on the more original copies. Does that even make sense.

Rob, who cares how original looking it is. 351w in an RMC, now that's a very nice ride in my books.
