Finally got some more pictures of the body work.
All I can say is WOW!!! It is absolutey stunning. I am very, very pleased with the paint work. You would think I was building a show car.
Spent all day today with the body guy, removing panels, masking up and stone guarding under sides. Then they will get a hit of gloss black. Back for another full day of work tomorrow, which should nearly finish it off. Except for black inside brake duct & napa duct holes, will it never finish.
Should be back in my garage early next week.
Which is a huge achievement considering how long it's been away...don't even ask. Can't believe how many hundreds of hours I put into the body myself and I paid someone to do most of the work.
I thought I had a good photo of the perl in the stripes, but camera didn't capture it. Stripes are white base with 3 coats of perl/mica so that they match and blend with the main colour.
Oh and did I mention that it has not had it's final cut & polish.
Painter will be back next week to finish it off, just in case we get overspray on it.
