Default Speedo Calibration

Need help!!!

Just finishing off the car for the Nationals and replaced the speedo cable as it was noisey. Thought I would be smart and get the Speedo re calibrated since I have put 295/60/15's on the rear a few months back. I know the speedo was out by about 10 K's fast.

Took speedo to Ringwood speedo's and wow I can now do 150K's at about 2000 revs. It looks like it's out by about 50K's now.

I have 3.31 jag diff, Ford toploader (Speedo gear on cable is 16 Tooth) and I know I should be doing about 2600RPM at 100K/Hr.

I gave them the Revs/km for 295's which is 484, the diff ratio and the gearbox type. I asked if they needed anything else and as they did not ask for anymore information I assumed they would have the rest and be able to calibrate correctly.

Can someone help please....????? before I ring them and get them to re calibrate.

Cheers

Tony
