Very curious problem, this is, with my thermostat! Replaced the stat, bled all air out of the system (checked this by removing the sending unit). Just came back from a short run. Temp at first stays at about 160 for a long time, then shoots up to 210, then drops back down to 160, shoots back up to 210 and back to 180. Hovers there for awhile, then shoots back up to 210. This keeps happening over and over again. Not too critical, as it really doesn't run HOT! Just a little warm. Anyone experience this annoying problem?

A decent 427 - not the worst, not the best, will go from zero to 100 mph and back down again to zero in less than 14 seconds. All thing considered, you can put together a pretty good argument that the 427 Cobra is the ultimate performance car, judged on any basis you want to name."
