In the pic you showed it appears that the LH header cross's over to exit on the RHS & vice versa. I am building a Daytona ( scratch build) here in NZ & intend to fabricate my side pipes in such fashion that they look like the original but are actually a loong Flowmaster type inside.

I think that the pipes from the header run formard and then do a "180" bend to fix onto the front edge of the silencer shown ... but its difficult to tell from the foto.
As for SVA ... as long as they dont protrude beyond the Perpendicular line of the bottom edge of the door they'll be ok (I think).
What are these "Flowmaster" pipes have you got any fotos or better still a link to manufacturer. I assume they make "specials" for cars like ours
