Where is your Island?

Are your side pipes (2) piece design?
If they are take off the muffler side part, then drop the body down and project straight lines to the body area using the header pipes as the angle guide. Then cut and fit. That's what I did.
By the way, an air powered mini sawsall is the best tool to cut the body, then finish with powered sanding discs, you'll find a Dremel kit to be a life saver.
Don't forget to use a good masking tape over the Gel Coat when you make you cuts and large drilled holes. Start into the gel slowly until you get into the glass.
You will find the A & C body thickness incredibly thick compared to all the other glass bodies on the market.
Welcome to the site, lot's of help here.
I also did not find this site until half way thru my build, Roscoe was a great source of information.
Some great people here waiting to help the next guy with the same desire.
Good Luck with the build, ask for help anytime.
