Unless you have the necessary equipment to properley set up your car take it to a shop that specializes in track setups.Once you have the car properly aligned,balanced with correct corner weights, bump steer corrected, then you can hit the track and start taking notes.No shop can set your car up to perform perfectly the first time out, it requires patience and lots of tweaking. But you do need a base to start from and that you can get from a quality road race shop.
