I have scuffed the bottom of the mufflers on a few compression dips at speed. They just barely touched.
As far as the rear exhaust being more restrictive........your guess is as good as mine. I do believe the sidepipes from SPF do choke down to 1.75" by the mufflers? I think the rear exhaust pipes are 2.5"?
