Default Extinct Manifold?

All,

'Old Smokey' is the name recently aquired by my 289w. It (the engine) came with the kit I picked up and after sitting for 15+ years (1990 kit) my brother/mechanic managed to revive it.

Have been having a bit of fun during the build however we suspect that the big sit has caused some issues (lots of blow by, a bit smokey and a stream of greeen fluid under the car) and while I quite like its willingness - albeit limited to 5000rpm - I expect that its just a matter of time before something ventilates the crank case.

I expect that this event will occur while still impoverished by the build cost for the car, and that I will consequently have to but the 'wanna have' engine on hold and put together a stop gap.

Naturally I'm looking to get as much bang for my buck as I can and will want to reuse parts that I already have.

Toward that end I'm trying to figure out if the manifold I have is worth hanging on to.

Its a Holley Street Dominator single plane.

When I look at the Holley catalogue it only talks about these in the past tense and only in the context of SBChev where they say it was good for 0-6000rpm.

I'm suspicious that if they aren't making them anymore there's a reason for that and its not looking good for re-use. But does anybody know?

And, if you do - will it feed a 302/347?

Any other info would be appreciated
