I had basically the same distributor, but for the 351W. I sheared the pin on the gear with only about 2000 miles of relatively light use. I decided to replace the unit with an MSD billet model.

My impression of the Unilite was that it was seemed less heavy duty than the MSD. I think the pin on the MSD is a larger diameter than the one on the Unilite.
