That is a nice body. I like the rolled edges of the cockpit, they are stronger and safer. The bottom edge of the rocker panel also rolls well under which is a good authentic look. You are correct the high number of pieces of the mold very much contribute to the correct shape they have achieved. The chassis instruction book owners manual says the wheel base is 90". Track is quoted as 53.96" front and rear is 53 standard 55 1/8" racing. These are however a flange to flange measurement I believe which should help in building it. Stick with 56" track (centre to centre) front and rear and see how that fits your body. Length 12' 10 1/2", width 5' 5 1/2" (actually measures the 5' 10 1/2" quoted). Scuttle height is 2' 11". Top of soft top 49". There's some good discussion on these dimensions on CC if you want to do a search. I agree on the dash comments the column cutout is too low and wide, probably for an Ididit, FR or other GM based column. Good luck with the build it's sure a good start.
