Michael,
That is typical. Filling fron that tube sucks. I am going to check my 64 tbird
and see what the baffle looks like compared to the after market one on my Cobra. Use the Chrome MR. Gasket breather cap. The Stock Ford valve covers are shorter than the pentroofs.
Or change the valve covers so you can fill it from them.
