Default Will book provide help?

I see copies of Dave Friedman's book, "SHELBY COBRA The Shelby American Original Archives 1962-1965" is available from a number of different sources.

Does this books photographs and verbiage help in data to build a period correct car, (427 S/C) or does it come up short for that version. I am not interested so much in racing campaigns as to the construction, details, photos, etc of the actual cars.

I read somewhere that Friedman didn't favor the 427 so provided very few photos of it.

The book goes for around $50. Or am I better spent dropping my money on another item for my car?

Thanks for any input

Paul
