Have you thought of using a solid flat tappet ? They will take he punishment. I adjust the valves once every spring. Very easy and only takes about 1/2 hr to 45 min. Mine is a custom grind Comp Cam. 252/260- 600 lift- 112 % lobe sep. I love this cam.
