I bought Rick's pan and am using it to this minute, on my 331 stroker. Used it earlier on my 302. It fits perfectly, and required NO Armstrong Engineering.

Don't do it (beat on it) - return it and get another. Deal with Milodon - if you have to - and it will be made right. But do not hack it up because, as J Persons says, you will then own it.
