The engine doesn't get all that hot (or at least, it shouldn't
) so high temp paint is not really required. Go to an auto parts store and buy a spray can of "engine paint" in the colour that you want. Make sure that the surface is clean and completely free of
oil, grease, dirt, etc. Tape off anything you don't want painted then start painting. It's as easy as that.
