I found a technical note on SCOF about the "clunking" noise. Suspension bushings and clearances. My girl is up on jacks now and I'm going to investigate the same problem.

I've pulled the side pipes and dropping them off in Mesquite today to have new ceramic finish applied. The shop is also going to weld the rear bracket back on. You should probably fix your bracket too. I'm concerned about the pipe eventually bending if it bounces around too much.
