Sorry to hear that you may be scrapping your order, this being my first and probably my last i am willing to keep fighting. My Dad owns a garage so i'll talk to him about what all this means and my chances on passing with the
428. I went with ERA for the reason of getting a car very close to the original one so i new i wanted a 427 or a 428 to go in it. I know my dad has tinkered with alot of old English cars, back in the late 80's,getting them to pass by retarding the spark and other stuff. I remember him adjusting stuff in the old emmission station's parking lot cause he would have never made it there with the car set to pass. Regarding trailoring: He has a repair plate so i was thinking about using that to get to an emmission station. Not sure how it all works now since they scrapped the branches and gave testing to various repair shops in our towns?? Are you saying that the emission testing has to be done during the inspection in Weathersfield?
I have not talked to Peter P yet but i imagine that i will get the same response you did. Not to worry! Can you imagine dropping 60k and not being able to drive it?
Are you going with one of his painters? Which one?
