Sal Gerace Sal I have one on my ERA. It is mounted to the frame rail under the car. I have a shield in front to protect it from stone or rocks from racing. I have seen motors saved by the 3 added quarts of
oil like mine at R&G this year when the rocker shaft broke and the lifter came out of the bore. The most wear on any motor is on startup, If the auto industries put per
oil lubers in the car and trucks, the motor would go 1/2 million miles without any problem and no cars would be getting sold. I run Lucas
oil additive in all my cars and truck after doing the test. Let vehicle sit for 3 weeks and then start, lifters and rockers noisey for 5-15 seconds. All the oil has fallen off these parts. Put additive in car and run as per directions and let same truck sit for 3 weeks no noise on startup. I am sure you lose 6-8hp with this product in the motor, but it's a truck for towing not a race motor. I do run Lucas in the cobra also. A peroiler just makes sense. Happy holidays guys Rick Lake
