I was doing a lot of looking around and started looking at E-Bay. My search was "OIL BREATHER TANK". I came up with several including the usual Moroso and such. Either not enough volume or too long. I was looking at #260045501109 a squarish 1 liter tank with breather by" Nor-Mal" . It only mentioned metric fittings and at that time I thought I may want to change things and didn't want to start cutting and welding.
So I started looking at the more traditional upright cyindrical tanks by "cater7man" in UK. #270066080076 , a 2 liter tank with two 1/2" curved tube nipples pointed away from away from the mounting bracket and a 3/4" tube nipple pointed upwards for a breather.
I asked for some changes . Two 5/8" curved tubes pointed rearwards and one 1 " nipple pointed upwards for a breather, Two smaller tubes stragically placed on the side pointed at each other so I can connect them with a piece of clear tubing forming a sight tube, a formed bottom with a drain.
I found a breather at Summit #KNN-62-1511 a half sheilded filter that clamps over a 1 inch tube. I received a quote and I jumped on it . This kind of stuff is how time is passing me by. I can only look at the computer so long.
