Have you driven a Fly-by-wire car before ? I have just bought a car with such a throttle set up. My last car was a dinosaur...about 28 years old. I am enjoying my new "techno car" immensely, but there just doesn't seem to be that "Feel" on throttle response. It's like a fart...it happens and the stink is smelt after you have left ! My Cobra has a dinosaur engine 351 C that runs on fart gas and the response is "there"!
Ceramic coatings are not to anyones advantage unless you are chasing parts of a second....according to HOT ROD magazine tests (Nov 06) but headers are definately the way to go. I build a 351 mustang, 71 , and the engine bay temps were 49+ with bare metal headers...after coating inside & outside the new headers the temps were down to 38 - 40. Best money spent. HPC did the job.
