I've stayed away from this thread because originally you stated a budget build using your basic components. Since then, you've expanded your consideration to custom builders and a higher budget. All of the builders mentioned are reputable, high quality businesses that build strong engines. Your choice is to fit your desired spending level and get the type of power you want.
I'd like to offer World as another consideration for you to contemplate. You appear to want an 8.2 deck small block. In this family, we offer everything from 302/302HP to 371/455HP. They are priced between $7895 and $9795.
All have forged internals, four bolt mains, hydraulic cams and variants have iron or aluminum heads. All use pump gas and are dyno tested for QC and power numbers. All have a two year warranty. The difference between our stuff and
all other builders is that we cast our own blocks and heads. In fact, our brand-new aluminum block is an option on any of them at appprox. $2500. We also build 9.5 decks to 625HP for $12295 should your appetite grow larger.
