I tried a little different approach. I used scotchbrite pads on the pipes and then used clear VHT. Looked really good and then I went for a drive. By the time I got back, the pipes had discolored to the muffler. In the end I decided I liked it better for some reason. It's kind of a cool look in person (though I'm biased).
