I haven't seen the new block yet, so I can't help you there. For the motor you are describing, an ordinary 5.0 Roller block would be fine. If you want something a little stronger use an early (up to 1979) 302 block.

Check the Coast High Performance "Streetfighter" and "Streetfighter Pro-Street" shortblocks.

The 750 carb is too big for that engine. A 650 would be better.
