Actually one should not comment having obviously not seen one of these cars. The Cheetah will run rings around your Cobra on the track even driven by my 55 year old sister...
You need to look at one of these cars, it is a really serious race car, not suitable for road use at all... and absolutely wicked fast. I saw one of the new cars at PIR and it is blindingly quick. I also looked at the construction and it is built like a GT car or TA pipe car. Very cool looking and light speed - what more is there? It is also really cheap for a vintage legal car... price the new Chaparral from Jim Hall yet? More like $250-$300K. This is fun , go see one...
