OK, I need some advice on this one. I am trying to get a title for a 1991 Classic Motor Car kit car that languished unfinished until last year. I bought the car ,finished in December 2006,from the fellow who finished it.He had bought it from the original purchaser. There is no VIN # on the car as apparently there is a plate that the manufacturer provides and it was never attached to the car and has been subsequently lost.I do not have a MSO.The motor is from a Mustang that is still on the road so I cannot use that #.As Connecticuts new emission standards require emission testing for composite cars starting in 2007 ,I would like to tile the car as the year that the replica resembles, a 1965 Ford Cobra or Ford 2 door coupe.Does any one have any good suggestions so that I may enjoy this life long dream car of mine?
