Have you thought about buying a kit that isn't finished, but complete as far as you just have to button up the driveline etc? You can get some smoking deals from people that have just had it and want the thing out of their garage. Pay somebody a couple grand to finish it the way you want it and the color you want, and presto, a customized Cobra to call your own. My budget started out at 28K when I started looking, and there were plenty out there. I ended up blowing that way out of the water with my SPF, but hey, its only my sons education....Good luck and hope to hear you reving something soon.
