The 351M/400 is another member of the 335 engine family distinguised by, among other things, a taller deck height, 2V only heads, and the aformentioned 429/460 or 385 series bolt pattern for the bellhousing. If your setup currently uses a smallblock trany then you shouldn't have any issues. Since you already have the block and bellhousing just match them up, if they work then all is well because the 385 series bolt pattern isn't even close. The only possible sticking point that I can see is if your engine was ballanced with the auto flex plate then I'd want to make sure that the new flywheel is balanced the same way, probably the 28oz.
