They are actually a little nicer than the originals. I noticed that the welds on the original frame aren't done very well and the fiberglass on the original body is pretty wavy. It was intended to be a race car after all, so I wouldn't have expected them to have been perfect either.
The fit/finish on the new one is much better as are the welds on the chassis. A first-class car to be sure. I think the price is worth it but I would probably spend it on a Kirkham instead. That's just my opnion though and if I was was intending to race the car, I might think differently.
