It's really not a big deal. I run the same carb on a 428 in a much colder climate than you (NJ). Give the gas pedal 3 or 4 shots, then hold the throttle about 1/3 of the way down and it usually fires right up. Just requires a little bit of feathering the throttle once it starts to keep it going until it warms up.
