It was that 'side oiler' claim that irked me. That statement suggests the car is 'more correct' some how. It's a nicley done replica and should stand on it's own merits, a well built pedigreed engine for instance, nice paint, etc.
Pretending it is something it is not (a side oiler) is an open invitation to assess the car AND the sellers 'accuracy' level in general. Such misleading statements generate a 'red flag', in my opionion. Perhaps it was a simple mistake by a well meaning seller, maybe... Perhaps he is equally sincerely mistaken concerning the registration laws for this car.
