Default Another old movie with a Cobra

saw a movie called The Killers. I think Hemingway may have written it, not sure. Or else he wrote a story with the same title. It starred Lee marvin and John Cassavantes (sp?). John was the chump hired as a getaway driver by a "suit" whose movie career seemed to fade soon after, a guy named "Dutch." The whole first part of the film is a small block Cobra fan's dream--John winding out the black Cobra to redline at Riverside a few times until he crashes it, so smitten and distracted as he is by a blonde (those blondes, always trouble!). The car you see burning is completely engulfed n flame so I can't tell if it's a Cobra. Anyhow about 1/3rd to half way through the film, that's all there is of the Cobra. I even saw Pete Brock standing in the pits in the film so I am sure he has stories to tell about it. I wonder whatever happened to Dutch?
