of course the big bore block will be lighter using sleeves - before you press in the sleeves :-)

Sealing of the sleeves was a problem in the 70s as well as keeping them in their position (from turning and dropping).
And also sealing against the heads was.

But I am sure today's manufacturers of aluminium block have solved that.
Keep it in mind!

And how much are resleeving cost vs. re-coating cost when you have to overbore? And who can do it?
