I love to play with the stripes on my ERA. I've run yellow, black and white DUCT TAPE for various effects. The last one was THREE white stripes angled back on each side, but not across the nose. Thats MY version of 'team stripes' (Sargent Cobra)!
I was running two yellow stripes on just one side, but my friend liked the look so much it's now considered 'his", so I was forced to get creative.
I like to dress it up. I've painted the wheels black then red now white. The sidepipes black, currently white. The hood, flat black, now a semi flat black. To me the Cobra is like a 'canvass' waiting for some expression. I've run period correct decals (static cling) and meatballs in various places. I've had the radiator 'air splitter' out, currently 'in', the bumper hoops in, currently out. No end to the variations! Dress it up! Have some fun!
