No need to attempt a stroking of my ego to get me to assist. If the car is titled as a "1965" then NYS will treat it as such. If it's titled as a "2004", again NYS will treat it as such but emissions will be based on the year of the block used. Only real issues are if like the original poster of this thread, you car has a titled marked as "salvage", in which case the NYS DMV will want to inspect the car with a fine tooth comb.
