Yes, I had to do this after the DMV required that I have my VIN number changed by the CHP - and this was after I already had an SB100 sticker - long story on this one, but suffice to say, the ref at the DMV had to call Sacra-pamento because he was not willing to print me a new sticker. Ultimately, we had to hook up the smog test sniffer and re-run the complete SB100 tests all over again in order for the machine to print a new sticker.

So, yes, it can be done. My position with BAR ref was that his sticker (the original one) had a VIN number on it that didn't match the VIN that CHP assigned, so I needed a new sticker so that my vehicle would not have two VINs.
