Thanks for the pic posting and the props Michael. Been following your ordeal over the last few days and hope it all gets worked out. Happy to lend a hand if you need an extra set sometime. Makes me think I want to install a lift at my place. (read: a garage we can all hang out in and pretend to get anything done-though in your case we'd have to get after it)
And thanks the rest of the gang. I went with the PE 351 with AFR heads-it dynoed at 496 HP. I also went with a 3.73 40% lock LSD-Jay says it flies. We'll see in the next few weeks.
I firmly believe Jay is somehow related to the devil. All these great pics. Having a hard time actually believing it's mine. Honestly though, I can't say enough good things about the operation Jay and Brian have at Vintage. In the last three months I'd say I have no less than 100 e-mails from Jay regarding the build process. I'm sure he's happy to be done with me
I really like how the hood with the undercoating of aluminum (and the stripes polished in the aluminum turned out) Great props to Ron for the job and the stripes.
Gonna be taking it nice and easy to start.
I'll give you a ring when I get my first (of many) TOP.
