You may be referring to Laurie at RCM. He makes original style seats with headrests. In a RCM they are an easy fit as they are narrow. Nice looking seat in my opinion. I'll PM you for his contact details if you like?
Another option is seats from a Honda S2000. That's what I've used as I wanted a more modern look.
They are about the same size as a MX5 seat but they are wider across the shoulders.
